HANOI – HALONG BAY – DANANG – SAIGON

DAY 1: HANOI ARRIVAL – HALF DAY HANOI CITY TOUR   (-/-/-)

Upon arrival at Noi Bai International airport in Hanoi, you will be greeted by driver and local guide. Transfer to the hotel, check in hotel (check in time 2pm).

Afternoon, we start half day Hanoi city tour. Visit Ho Chi Minh complex (outside), including Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the final resting place of Vietnamese great father or uncle Ho, then visit Pillar Pagoda - a group of structures consisting of a pagoda and a tower built in the middle of a square lake. Drive to visit Tran Quoc Pagoda, which is on the shore of West Lake and enjoy fresh air at West Lake. The last place of city tour is Hanoi Old Quarter & Hoan Kiem Lake (Restored Sword Lake) with Ngoc Son Temple (outside) to see the peaceful green waters, The Huc Bridge, Thap But (Pen Tower). Overnight in Hanoi.

DAY 2: HANOI – HALONG BAY OVERNIGHT ON CRUISE       (B/L/D)

After early breakfast, the driver will pick you up at hotel then drive to the coastal port of Halong. The journey takes around four hours with a break to stretch your legs. Upon arrival in Tuan Chau Marina, embark your boat and start cruising. Halong Bay is a UNESCO World Heritage Site composed of almost 2,000 islands and jungle-clad limestone pillars.

After arriving at noon, you will board a beautiful boat for an overnight cruise on Halong Bay with an excellent menu of fresh seafood. Lunch and dinner are served on board.

DAY 3: HALONG BAY – HANOI – FLIGHT TO DANANG     (B/BR/-)

Wake up early in the morning to enjoy the aquamarine waters of the bay at its best. After tea/coffee and pastries have been served, the boat will continue to cruise quietly through the spectacular limestone formations of Halong Bay. Enjoy this more isolated part of the bay’s spectacular and unique islands. You will return to Halong Harbor after a very hearty brunch on board (at 12pm).

Transfer to Noi Bai airport to take flight to Danang city. Arrival in Danang, transfer to hotel to check- in.

Overnight in Danang.

DAY 4: DANANG – COCONUT FOREST – HOI AN – DANANG      (B/-/-)

After breakfast, head to visit Bay Mau 7 hectares water coconut forest at Cam Thanh Village. Hearing about the past war story before exploring the now tranquil coconut-palm-flanked waterways of a past war and hearing of the extreme conditions endured by soldiers of both sides. Enjoy Thung Chai basket boat demonstration by our crews.

Learn to paddle the unique Vietnamese bamboo basket boats and join in basket boat racing for fun and learn how to make origami creations from reeds of palm leaves such as grasshoppers, birds, rings, sunglass, bracelets, etc.

In the afternoon, visit Hoi An town, recognized by UNESCO in 1999 as a World Heritage site because of its unusually well-preserved ancient streets and homes: Japanese Bridge, a Sino-Vietnamese - Japanese merchant house, the Chinese Fujian Temple, Hoi An central market, Museum of History and Culture, Hoi An Handicraft Workshop.

Back to Danang. Overnight in Danang.
 

DAY 5: DANANG – BANA HILLS – FLIGHT TO SAIGON   (B/-/-)

After breakfast at the hotel, starting tour to Bana Hill. Driver and local guide will pick-up you at the hotel and transfer to Bana Hill. Take Cable Car which gains 5 world scores to Ba Na hills station. Stop at By Night station to visit Vong Nguyet hills, The Old Villas of French. Continue moving up by cable car to the Nui Chua Mountain – the top of Ba Na range, visiting Nghinh Phong top, Le Nim Villas, Orchid Garde. Etc. Experience hill climbing train (first and unique funicular in Vietnam) and visit an old French cellar (Debay Ancient Wine Cellar), flower garden Le Jardin D’amour and Linh Ung Pagoda.

Then transfer to Danang airport to take a short flight to Saigon city (airfare is not included), pick up and transfer to the city centre & check in hotel (check in time from 14:00pm on ward). Relax and refresh after flight.

DAY 6: SAIGON – MEKONG DELTA – SAIGON    (B/-/-)

The one-day cruise excursion brings you to My Tho - Ben Tre. While there, you can take a walk along the waterfront, lined with French-era shops and houses, and you'll see plenty of coconuts being unloaded from boats for dispatch around the country. Then, jump on a boat to cruise on the Mekong River. The excursion will end at around 4:00 pm.

Back to Saigon for overnight.
 

DAY 7: SAIGON HALF-DAY CITY TOUR – DEPARTURE      (B/-/-)

After breakfast, we will explore Saigon city. Visit The Independence Palace symbolizes Vietnam's victory, peace, and territorial integrity. Visit Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office: Built between 1877 and 1883 this is one of the best examples of classical French colonial architecture.

End of the tour is Ben Thanh Market: This bustling market is very popular with tourists, primarily due to its central location. It has a wide selection of goods ranging from fake Nike shoes to beautiful silk Ao Dais.
